in the Plastic Surgical Skin Care Practice

Fractional Photothermolysis (FRAXELTM) works by delivering separate, spaced cores of skin coagulation (Microthermal Zones or MTZ’s). Normal tissue is preserved between the cores, allowing rapid re-epithelialization and maintaining normal skin appearance. How does FRAXELTM fit into our practice? FRAXELTM fits nicely into a comprehensive treatment plan for facial aging, which may include surgery, fillers, BotoxTM, and skin care regimes. |

At the initial office visit, the patient is evaluated by a R.N., specifically trained in the use of FRAXELTM. A complete medical history is taken and all aspects of this procedure are discussed. Realistic expectations are emphasized. |
How can FRAXELTM meet our patient’s needs? Exactly what does it do? FRAXELTM addresses fine and medium depth wrinkles, uneven skin tones, and overall skin texture. Discoloration in skin tone such as melasma, brown spots and poikiloderma may be dramatically improved with FRAXELTM.
